The Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) has forged a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Traning Center (ATI-RTC)- XI, the extension and training arm of the Department of Agriculture (DA). ATI-RTC XI shall provide e-Learning Program to the students of SPAMAST taking up Agriculture or Agriculture-related courses and to the faculty members who are handling Agriculture subjects or currently engaged in farming. Students who are young farmers or whose family is into farming are also included.
The main objective of the program is to increase the knowledge and skills of the participants through e-Learning modality. They are allowed to finish the course within two (2) months. On the other hand, the ATI-RTC XI has a system of tracking the progress of the participants in taking the course.
Any participant shall be considered graduate of a particular course if he/she completed all modules and end-of-module exams within the prescribed period. A Certificate of Completion will be given by DA-ATI Central Office to all successful participants during the Mass Graduation Ceremony.(By: Cherry Ann P. Roxas, MBA)
