Cab. Sec. Evasco said, “I am happy to be in your 21st Commencement Exercises. Your theme is very relevant not just to me but to our administration in our vision for change. Malasakit, Pagbabago, at Kaunlaran, everyone looked at the future of the country this way.”

He encouraged the graduates, “You, our graduates of today are our manpower of tomorrow. SPAMAST’s Vision means to upgrade our facilities in school, employ the best teachers, and etc…It’s only the school that can liberate us. So we need to support our institutions.”

Assist. Secretary Saavedra ended his message with a challenge, “I want you to develop the sense of hope that what you have learned in this school may be put into good practice no matter how little or small these contributions may be. There will be those who will underestimate your ideas. Let them do that. However, do not lose sight of what good you can do in the service of the Filipino, para sa tunay na pagbabago.”

Both commencement speakers posed a challenge to step forward and make significant contributions to the society. –Ma. Regina E. Robante
